Case Sharing and Results (I) Hong Kong-funded manufacturers

Customer Name

  • Hong Kong-funded manufacturers

Time

  • To be put into operation in February 2024

Project Background

  • Manual spraying, automatic spraying lines, and oven lines in the spraying production of plastic and hardware products generate a large amount of spraying waste gas. Although clean production measures have been taken to switch to water-based paint, a certain amount of VOC volatile organic compounds are still released. The main pollutants are isopropyl alcohol, trimethylol, etc., which are easy to pollute the surrounding environment.

Renovation Plan

  • Install a set of activated carbon adsorption concentration and catalytic combustion (CO) combined process waste gas treatment facilities, the system is designed to process 200,000 m³/h of air volume.

Test Method

  • After the waste gas treatment facilities are put into operation, a third-party testing company is commissioned to test the VOC concentration before and after treatment.

Results

  • The test results of a third-party agency showed that the average VOC removal rate of the waste gas treatment facility reached 86.7%, and the waste gas was discharged in compliance with the standards. The estimated annual VOC emission reduction was 34,33Kg;
  • The device has a high degree of automation, simple operation, stable and reliable technology, and a wide range of applications. It is suitable for the treatment of organic waste gas from circuit board production.
