Case Study and Results (I) Hong Kong-owned Printing Manufacturers
Customer Name
- Hong Kong-owned printing companies
Time
- To be put into operation in July 2022
Project Background
- The CTP, paper mounting, printing and screen washing processes and manual departments of the customer’s factory generate about 150 tons of waste liquid each year. Printing wastewater is high-concentration and high-salt wastewater, which is HW06 and HW16 in the hazardous waste list and is strictly controlled by the national environmental protection department. The Fumai factory has not built a wastewater treatment system and is currently mainly recycled by recycling companies, which has high disposal costs.
Renovation Plan
- A set of low-temperature vacuum distillation and concentration technology is installed to treat hazardous waste and waste liquid, with a designed processing capacity of 500 liters/day.
Test Method
- Install electricity meters and flow meters to collect flow and power consumption data and evaluate processing capacity and energy consumption;
- Collect water samples before and after treatment and send them to a third-party agency for testing to assess the quality of the treated water;
Results
- Recycled water is reused in the production process of washing plates. After testing, various indicators such as free residual chlorine meet the standards for washing water in “Urban Wastewater Recycling Industrial Water Quality (GBT 19923-2005)”, and recycled water can be reused in the factory in compliance with the standards.
- The number of hazardous waste liquids that need to be outsourced for treatment has been reduced by 92%, and the amount of hazardous waste liquids has been reduced by 66.76 tons/year, saving 269,000 yuan in hazardous waste liquid treatment fees each year;
- The device has a high degree of automation, simple operation, and stable and reliable technology.
